Vinaigrette dressing
 
Method
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bottle
    and shake well to make a thick
    dressing.

Tip: To get a good texture and uniform mixing for salad dressings, put the ingredients in a bottle and shake well instead of just mixing it in a bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic (grated)
  • ½ tbsp red pepper
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tbsp dry basil or 1 tbsp freshly
    chopped basil
  • ¼ tsp sugar (powdered)
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
