Pla Nueng Manao (Steamed Fish with lemon garlic sauce)

Method

  • Clean, wash and steam the fish.
To make sauce:
  • Dissolve sugar in lemon juice and fish
    sauce.
  • Add all finely chopped ingredients.
  • Serve fish steaming hot with sauce
    drizzled on top.

Ingredients
  • Boneless fish fillet 400 g
To make sauce:
  • Nampla (fish sauce) 100 ml
  • Lemon juice 50 ml
  • Sugar 10-15g
  • Finely chopped garlic ½ tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander root ½ tsp
  • Finely chopped red chillies ¼ tsp
