(Grilled shrimp paste relish)


  1. Flatten the shrimp paste on a metal spatula and grill over an open fire, keeping the spatula far enough so that the shrimp paste cooks without burning.
  2. Pound garlic and green chillies together and later pound in the shrimp paste.
  3. Again, flatten the shrimp paste mixture thinly on a metal spatula and grill lightly. Mound on a small plate and drizzle with oil and a squeeze of lime juice.
